Olive oil was venerate by all the antique countries: they used it in the sacrifies wich were offered to their gods, the prepared the Myrrh with that oil. The circus gladiators greased themselves before their terrorific fights. Catholic Church, fron the beginniing, useas the Sacred Oil in not many religious ceremonies. High society ladies used it to take care of their skin and hair.

 

By 13th century coming fron Italy the soap industry reached in France. And it was the French who afetr several attempts introduced the olive oil in the procution of sopa, replacing this way animal fat.

 

From that moment and until the middle of the last century, solid  soap made from olive oil was the only detergent used in spanish homes and its was both and tools cleaning and clothes and peraosnal washing.

 

Arv Laboratorios was founded 1.996,  developing, making and packing industrial detergent for exclusive use in professional industry sector. From 2002 started a new division: Oleosalud offering facial cream, corporal moisturizing oil, bath and shower gel, moisturizing shampoo and moisturizing hand cream, all made on the basis of the ecological olive oil.
